Cinderella - Name a book that kept you reading well past your bedtime

Too many books to even list. What. I can't do this. One of my most recents ones is probably The Remedy by Suzanne Young. I really enjoyed the Program duology and this Remedy was another books I really enjoyed from Suzanne. It definitely kept me up a little too late...

Aurora - Name your favorite classic romance

What would you consider a "classic romance?" I'm pretty sure anything by Jane Austin falls into this category, but I've never read Jane Austin...(whoops.) How about I name a favorite romance novel? Hmmm this one is hard because I love cute romances and there are literally a billion of them out there. I would have to go with Anna and the French Kiss. My favorite book out of that trilogy but really enjoyed the whole trilogy with all it's cuteness and feels and GAH! 

Ariel - Name a book that's about making sacrifices and fighting for your dreams

The book I could really think about when I read this question was the whole entire Harry Potter and Percy Jackson series. I mean these two boys have been fighting basically one enemy for the whole entire series and that have risked their lives countless times. The sacrifices they made just to do the right thing are so incredible, so these two series definitely fit for this question.

Belle - Name a book with a smart and independent female character

I feel like I have never mentioned this character yet in any tag but June Iparis from the Legend trilogy! *facepalm* Why have I never mentioned her, I mean she is a prodigy! June is such a badass and independent character I loved her. Plus, she is indeed a very smart person.

Jasmine - Name a book with a character who challenged the social conventions of his or her world

Willowdean! Dumplin! Yes! Definitely! This book was fabulous and I loved it. It's basically about a larger teenager entering her town's beauty pageant and this book is basically the beautiful story about going against social expectations and how everyone can be beautiful whether the size, height, or flaws.

Pocahontas - Name a book whose ending was a roller-coaster of emotions

Hahahahahaha, so many books have done this to me. One of the most recent books that I finished and gave me a roller coaster of emotions has to be Dreamland by Robert L Anderson. The ending was just soo bittersweet! I'm not sure if there is going to be a sequel for this book but I sure hope the publisher allows another book because the ending left me with such a strong strong need for another book. 

Mulan - Name a book with a kick-ass female character

So many to choose from! One of my most recent reads with a great kick ass character is definitely Iris from Hollywood Witch Hunter. She has such a sassy and hilarious character I love it. She is also such an independent woman and has a great I-bow-down-to-no-one personality. 

Tiana - Name a book featuring a hardworking, self-made character

The Boy Most Likely To for this one. Alice may not be entirely self made but she is extremely hardworking whether it may be towards her family or school and I really admire her for that. I love how Alice is like a mother to all her younger siblings and this girl still has plans for college! Coming from a huge family she comes from, I definitely applaud her for everything she does. 

Rapunzel - Name a book that features an artist

Hmmmmm, artist...Isla and the Happily Ever After, who had Josh who was very much an artist. He drew a lot of graphic novels and even drew his own graphic novel! Definitely enjoyed reading about Josh and his art.

Anna and Elsa - Name a book that features a great relationship between siblings 

Haha this one is too easy for me! Of course I would go with To All the Boys I've Loved Before! I really loved reading about the great relationship between Lara Jean, Margot, and Kitty. I love how they are all like they're own mini family. Margot as like the "responsible," Lara Jean is like the loose parent who is less strict than the other parent, and obviously Kitty is the little child of their sisterhood. Loved reading about how these three got along so nicely and it was all a great ride.

Hello! Welcome to the Disneyland Book Tag. No, not Disney Book Tag, but the Disneyland Book Tag. I have been to Disneyland (and California Adventure!) quite a few times and I really enjoy the rides that go on at the park. I decided to create a tag based off my favorite rides at Disneyland. Each ride has a prompt for the book and all you do is answer the questions, you know like how tags usually work! I hope you enjoy it and let me know your thoughts. :) Also, feel free to add on more questions if you ever do the tag!

I am not a reader of creepy books. I tend to stay away from these types of books but there have been a few books that made me very conscious of the things behind me because, well they creeped me out a bit! One of those book was definitely Every Last Word. I really can't tell you the reason because that would totally be a spoiler but the last time a book gave me the creeps (only for a little while!) was when I was reading Every Last Word. 

UHM I think I may have to definitely go with Crown of Midnight for this one. I really enjoyed this sequel and how the more I read, the better it got! I am still currently reading this series but hope to finish soon because I have been hearing Queen of Shadows is a great great book. 

I love reading sci fi books and definitely feel like I don't read enough of them. What I love about sci fi books is like what I love with any dystopian or fantasy book: the world! I love seeing the changes in a sci fi book and how different elements are different from modern day. Some books are more sci fi than others but I enjoy sci fi books in general. One of my favorites has to be These Broken Stars. I read it over the summer and just enjoyed it so so much. It is basically about two teenagers who get stranded on a planet and this book was all so much fun to read. Of course, I really enjoyed the world and world building but I also really enjoyed the characters. 

There are only a few books that I have went in knowing little about and the one that sticks out to me the most is definitely We Were Liars. The synopsis was already super vague and people were saying to go into this novel not knowing much about it. I fairly enjoyed it? I read it when I first started book blogging so I don't know if I would enjoy it if I read it now. I really went into this book knowing nothing and I'm kind of glad. We Were Liars is definitely a book you would want to go into not knowing what it would be about.  

Six of Crows. Six of Crows and I'm still waiting for it. I wasn't able to get an ARC (:'() of it so here I am, (im)patiently waiting for Six of Crows. Ever since I finished the Grisha trilogy, I have been dying for another book from Leigh Bardugo and I do. But ya know, I had to only wait 10 million years for it so I'm happy. (-.-) To anyone who has an ARC of Six of Crows and doesn't plan on reading it: UGH READ IT BECAUSE I WOULD LOVE TO BE YOU AND HAVE A SIX OF CROWS ARC. Thank you. 

Reading contemporaries with alternative worlds are definitely my favorite because if the author does their thing right, then you feel whisked away into another world but in the same time period as you. I have two books that I can fit for this category: Nil by Lynne Matson and Magonia by Maria Dahvana Headley. I loved both books and both books have such weird and awesome alternative worlds. Okay, so maybe Nil doesn't have EXACTLY an alternative fantasy like world in a contemporary time period but Nil is on an island that doesn't exist (AHEM DOESN'T THAT KIND OF REMIND YOU OF NEVERLAND?) and everything does seem like an alternative world to me! I chose Magonia because we literally do get to see this cool alternative world and I really love that. Really enjoyed these two books and the different worlds they both go into. (Honorable mention: Dreamland)

Soooo many books I can list off for this book! I think the one that messed with the most people was the Shatter Me trilogy and the Anna and the French Kiss trilogy. I have to go with Anna though because, well it's the only trilogy out of the two that I named that I have read. I did not like the Anna and Lola covers. They were just so...stock photo-y! Not like there is nothing wrong with stock photos, they just definitely didn't fit the covers. Plus, the typography. GIRL, I really did not enjoy the fonts they did for the wording. Really love the new covers and how the background is the skyline of the setting the book takes place in. It's so simple and beautiful and I love it.

R: Both, I like soft music when I feel delicate so to say. Loud when I feel like I’m gonna burst. I don’t know if that makes sense.
K: I like both but the music can’t be too loud or too soft.

R: On school mornings- 10 minutes without breakfast Normal mornings- 15 minutes?
K: Hahaha, if I’m rushing like 20 minutes? If not, anywhere from 20 minutes to 40 minutes. Breakfast not included.

R: When I thought about my grandparents and thinking about my life, they passed away btw. Oh and when the arrow team thought Oliver died even though I knew he didn’t.
K: I was watching some shorts by the Jubilee Project and I just broke down in the middle of night.

K: I recently finished Hollywood Witch Hunter by Valerie Tejeda!

I actually have two places in which my books go! One is an actual shelf (left photo below) and the other one is just a compartment in this little storage shelf I have (right photo below). Most of my books go on my shelf and the ones on my storage compartment thing is books I read when I was younger, ARCs, duplicate books, DNF books, books I may never get to, and chapter samplers. On my shelf is mostly books I have already read and some books I have not read, Most books are read because I haven't bought books in awhile. (Most of this tag will be referred off my bookshelf)

Uhhh since I haven't reorganized that much from when I had a ton of unread books on my shelf, they aren't organized too strictly. I try to keep my series together (the second shelf from the top consists of mostly series), the top shelf has all my box sets, and the books stacked on top of the box sets are books I recently got that I want to put on my shelf but they won't fit anywhere else. When it comes to stacking the books, hardcover are always on the bottom because that's just how it should work. 

What is the thickest/biggest book on your shelf?

That would easily be Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows! (It beat Goblet of Fire by about 20 pages)

And the thinnest?

That would have to be We Were Liars. 

Is there a book from a friend on your shelf?

Nope! Since it's summer I haven't seen my friends face to face in awhile.. plus I do rarely borrow books from my friends.

Most expensive book?

Well every book I own kind of costs the same so I guess the most expensive one would have to be the hardcovers I didn't order online. (I got my three Harry Potter books from the library book sale)

The last book you read on your shelf?

That would be Isla and the Happily Ever After, which I really enjoyed! :D

Do you have more than one copy of a book?

Yes! I have a paperback and hardcover Alienated as well as the second cover edition in paperback If I Stay and the movie tie in version.

Do you have the complete series of any book series?

I have the Hunger Games, Divergent, Grisha, Anna and the French Kiss, and Legend Trilogy. I have the To All the Boys I've Loved Before, If I Stay, Just One Day, and the Harp's Song duology. I also have the Percy Jackson series. 

What’s the most recently published book on your shelf?

Every Last Word, in which I am currently reading!

The oldest book on your shelf?

I'm not sure if this is asking the book that I've owned the longest or the book with the oldest publication date so I'm going to do both! The book I've owned the longest has to be one of my MG books. (I can't actually remember which book I've owned the longest). The book with the oldest publication date would have to be Fahrenheit 451, which I read for school.

A book you won?

Magonia! Which I very much enjoyed.

Um, all of them. 

Most beat up book?

Haaa These Broken Stars. I brought it on my trip to Jamaica/Canada/New York and it got pretty beat up....

I don't have them on my shelf because they all went to my little sister but I did read a lot of Magic Tree House when I was younger haha.

    2. State five facts about yourself!

• I have been playing golf since I was about five. I took a long break but started getting back into it about 3 years ago. I'm not a pro yet, but getting there! 
• My bookshelf is currently full and looks very ugly. Remember that picture of the shelf I posted about 2 months ago? That is no more. Books are currently stacked to the top because of the little shelf space I have. I need a new one!
• I am in choir! I don't think I have mentioned this a lot but I am part of the Morning Chorale. Basically that is a zero period (A period before school starts) class you take. 
• I am a perfectionist to mostly everything. People have mistaken this for OCD.  It's not. I like things perfect. Meaning, the staple has got to be in the right place, the surface of the glue must be flat, I get so annoyed when a piece of paper is creased. Those little things! They just prevent the thing from being it's most perfect.
• Rice is something that is very dear to me. Whether it's just in soy sauce or wrapped in sushi, I love it. 

Well, if you didn't know, about a year ago I posted a huge book haul and I still haven't read a few of those books. I think it just depends on how long it takes me to get it. Sometimes 1 week, sometimes 1 year.

The 11 Blogs I Nominate (Or at least I'll try for 11)

One author I would love to invite for tea would be either Gayle Forman, Suzanne Collins, Rick Riordan, Cassandra Clare, Morgan Matson, JK Rowling, or Jenny Han. Haha yes my list of long huh? One of those authors and I would love to have tea with (Oh jesus here comes a huge list of characters) Lara Jean, Peter K (Jenny Han), Leila (Adi Alsaid), Percy, Annabeth (Rick Riordan), Bianca or Wesley (Kody Keplinger). So yes I have a huge list for this questions. Whoops.

I would love to live in the Legend world (The Republic right?) because it seems like a cool place to live. Rich and poor. I don't know, it is a pretty corrupted world but at least it's the one that doesn't get blown to bits completely...?

Wow, okay this is a hard question. That read would have to probably be The Duff because I finished the thing in a day and I haven't done that in so long. Lately I have been very slow with my reading because blogging and homework takes up a lot of time. I've been debating on just going on a hiatus so I can catch up on reading but I will definitely let y'all know when I do.
