More Pages Monday is a meme created by Kaitlin at Next Page Please! where you tell about a book you wanted more pages to. It could be a better or longer epilogue. A longer/better ending or just you felt like something is missing. Explain why you want these extra pages and maybe give us a little blurb if you were to write more pages to the book. If you want more a challenge then try not to include spoilers…but good luck with that.

I need more pages too...

Ruin and Rising

Ruin and Rising (The Grisha, #3)Author: Leigh Bardugo
Pages: 417

Published on: June 17th 2014
The capital has fallen. The Darkling rules Ravka from his shadow throne. Now the nation's fate rests with a broken Sun Summoner, a disgraced tracker, and the shattered remnants of a once-great magical army. Deep in an ancient network of tunnels and caverns, a weakened Alina must submit to the dubious protection of the Apparat and the zealots who worship her as a Saint. Yet her plans lie elsewhere, with the hunt for the elusive firebird and the hope that an outlaw prince still survives. Alina will have to forge new alliances and put aside old rivalries as she and Mal race to find the last of Morozova's amplifiers. But as she begins to unravel the Darkling's secrets, she reveals a past that will forever alter her understanding of the bond they share and the power she wields. The firebird is the one thing that stands between Ravka and destruction—and claiming it could cost Alina the very future she’s fighting for.

Why I need more pages...

I need a better epilogue. Don't get me wrong, I totally loved this book but in the epilogue I only found out what happened to Alina and *blank* after the big ending battle. If you don't know, Leigh's epilogues leave you in utter tears. They are so beautifully written it's very hard to be unsatisfied. But really I just want to find out what happens to Nikolai in the end.

What would I write about...

I would write about Nikolai.

Blurb

You cannot replicate Leigh's writing. It is too grand for even an attempt.

Seriously you can't.
