Hello! Welcome to the Disneyland Book Tag. No, not Disney Book Tag, but the Disneyland Book Tag. I have been to Disneyland (and California Adventure!) quite a few times and I really enjoy the rides that go on at the park. I decided to create a tag based off my favorite rides at Disneyland. Each ride has a prompt for the book and all you do is answer the questions, you know like how tags usually work! I hope you enjoy it and let me know your thoughts. :) Also, feel free to add on more questions if you ever do the tag!

I am not a reader of creepy books. I tend to stay away from these types of books but there have been a few books that made me very conscious of the things behind me because, well they creeped me out a bit! One of those book was definitely Every Last Word. I really can't tell you the reason because that would totally be a spoiler but the last time a book gave me the creeps (only for a little while!) was when I was reading Every Last Word. 

UHM I think I may have to definitely go with Crown of Midnight for this one. I really enjoyed this sequel and how the more I read, the better it got! I am still currently reading this series but hope to finish soon because I have been hearing Queen of Shadows is a great great book. 

I love reading sci fi books and definitely feel like I don't read enough of them. What I love about sci fi books is like what I love with any dystopian or fantasy book: the world! I love seeing the changes in a sci fi book and how different elements are different from modern day. Some books are more sci fi than others but I enjoy sci fi books in general. One of my favorites has to be These Broken Stars. I read it over the summer and just enjoyed it so so much. It is basically about two teenagers who get stranded on a planet and this book was all so much fun to read. Of course, I really enjoyed the world and world building but I also really enjoyed the characters. 

There are only a few books that I have went in knowing little about and the one that sticks out to me the most is definitely We Were Liars. The synopsis was already super vague and people were saying to go into this novel not knowing much about it. I fairly enjoyed it? I read it when I first started book blogging so I don't know if I would enjoy it if I read it now. I really went into this book knowing nothing and I'm kind of glad. We Were Liars is definitely a book you would want to go into not knowing what it would be about.  

Six of Crows. Six of Crows and I'm still waiting for it. I wasn't able to get an ARC (:'() of it so here I am, (im)patiently waiting for Six of Crows. Ever since I finished the Grisha trilogy, I have been dying for another book from Leigh Bardugo and I do. But ya know, I had to only wait 10 million years for it so I'm happy. (-.-) To anyone who has an ARC of Six of Crows and doesn't plan on reading it: UGH READ IT BECAUSE I WOULD LOVE TO BE YOU AND HAVE A SIX OF CROWS ARC. Thank you. 

Reading contemporaries with alternative worlds are definitely my favorite because if the author does their thing right, then you feel whisked away into another world but in the same time period as you. I have two books that I can fit for this category: Nil by Lynne Matson and Magonia by Maria Dahvana Headley. I loved both books and both books have such weird and awesome alternative worlds. Okay, so maybe Nil doesn't have EXACTLY an alternative fantasy like world in a contemporary time period but Nil is on an island that doesn't exist (AHEM DOESN'T THAT KIND OF REMIND YOU OF NEVERLAND?) and everything does seem like an alternative world to me! I chose Magonia because we literally do get to see this cool alternative world and I really love that. Really enjoyed these two books and the different worlds they both go into. (Honorable mention: Dreamland)

Soooo many books I can list off for this book! I think the one that messed with the most people was the Shatter Me trilogy and the Anna and the French Kiss trilogy. I have to go with Anna though because, well it's the only trilogy out of the two that I named that I have read. I did not like the Anna and Lola covers. They were just so...stock photo-y! Not like there is nothing wrong with stock photos, they just definitely didn't fit the covers. Plus, the typography. GIRL, I really did not enjoy the fonts they did for the wording. Really love the new covers and how the background is the skyline of the setting the book takes place in. It's so simple and beautiful and I love it.
