Survive This Island #1
11/10/2015Okay, so this is a meme kind of post feature (Struggling to word that, sorry) that I came up with a few days ago and really wanted to try out. (Thought of this in the shower, because that's where all great ideas come from right?) Anyway, let's get to the actual post because some of you may be dying to know what this meme is?

Publisher: Dial Books
Release Date: May 5th 2015
The Fast and the Furious gets a futuristic twist in this action-packed debut! On corporately controlled Castra, rally racing is a high-stakes game that seventeen-year-old Phoebe Van Zant knows all too well. Phee’s legendary racer father disappeared mysteriously, but that hasn't stopped her from speeding headlong into trouble. When she and her best friend, Bear, attract the attention of Charles Benroyal, they are blackmailed into racing for Benroyal Corp, a company that represents everything Phee detests. Worse, Phee risks losing Bear as she falls for Cash, her charming new teammate. But when she discovers that Benroyal is controlling more than a corporation, Phee realizes she has a much bigger role in Castra’s future than she could ever have imagined. It's up to Phee to take Benroyal down. But even with the help of her team, can a street-rat destroy an empire?

Today, I drop on the island along with a napkin, a tupperware container, and night light. (Thank you anonymous person!)
So because I am only about 40 pages into my current read, I am going to drop a character on the island from a recent read, Tracked by Jenny Martin! This is a dystopian novel about car racing and a girl who get's tangled up in a contract that causes her to race for a company that goes against everything she believes in. Not your typical dystopian but I really enjoyed it.
The character I am choosing for today is, Phee, our main character! Now would she survive this island?
I am going to have to say no. I mean girl has survived the streets, definitely but question whether she would be able to survive the island with a napkin. She maybe able to pick apart the nightlight and create something useful from it but I highly doubt she would be able to know how to make something out of the night light. If she had more skills with survival then maybe Phee would survive. In the meantime, we should probably drop her on the island with more survival skills....
If you would like to contribute three items, fill out the form here! Remember, the items don't need to set up a character for survival, so challenges me!
