The January Post

Heeyyyy everyone and Happy New Year! Welcome to the first post here on Next Page Please! for the new year. I hope everyone had an awesome time celebrating holidays with their families and food. Hope lot's of reading was done within the breaks we got and I hope you all received loads of books for Christmas! I am having a very nice Winter Break and am relieved to have another week of it before I must return to school. To the post?
Happy New Year everyone! 2016 has come so quickly and it's almost been a year since I moved to a blogger blog! I am excited to see what 2016 will bring me. Looks like a really exciting year for new book releases. Other than that, I am looking forward to this year's experience, lessons, new friends, new food, and just a great year. I have some goals (*cough cough* resolutions) for 2016 that I am hoping to achieve. Looking forward to 2016 and what I learn from it!
I love my school district. Why? Because I get three weeks off for winter break! HAH, ANOTHER WEEK OFF FOR MEEHHHHH. Yep, and I am going to spending that week getting things done. These things? Things I was supposed to do in 2015 but didn't get to...oops. And I hope I will be getting more reading done because I have been dying to read some books that I wasn't able to get to last year. Yay.
Can't go a monthly post without talking about shows! All my shows are either coming back or starting this month! SO excited to be back in the Arrow, Flash, and the 100 world! So excited to finally have The 100 back. Based in the Season 3 trailer I saw, this new season is going to be really interesting. Also, really happy to finally get to watch the Shadowhunters and Legends of Tomorrow! I have really been looking forward to them and now, they are going to be added to all the shows I have to keep up with....
This month on the blog, I have a few excited blog tours in place and also some exciting reviews and posts! Going to be updating some pages throughout the month and maybe some blog design tweaks? Going to hopefully be caught up on commenting by the end of this month (gulp) and yeah! I haven't actually planned out this month yet so I don't have a huge idea of what is in store. Also, my TBR may be changing a bit as I will be getting some books in the library! Oh! And a new Book Buddies post will be going up at the end of the month, be ready for that!
Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff / Inherit the Stars by Tessa Elwood / Winter by Marissa Meyer / Dare to Dream by Carys Jones / Underwater by Marisa Reichardt / Shallow Graves by Kali Wallace / Just Visiting by Dahlia Adler
The Dream Thieves by Maggie Stiefvater

Despite my best efforts, I tried to read more during the winter break but I definitely was not going to be able to finish my whole TBR. I mean, I spent about two weeks on Queen of Shadows and Six of Crows alone, I basically had no time to read all these books. No worries, I am going to be trying my best to get all these books read (Okay, not all) during my last week of winter break and we shall see how that goes...
