Uhhh that has to be Never, Always, Sometimes by Adi Alsaid. I loved Let's Get Lost and enjoyed Never Always Sometimes but I did think that it would enjoy it a bit more.

3. Most surprising (in a good way or bad way) book you read?
One of my most recent reads, Joyride! I really enjoyed this book and the plot had definitely taken me by surprise on how different it was to what I expected it to be. Enjoyed it nevertheless!

4. Book You “Pushed” The Most People To Read (And They Did)?
Ayyyeee, Let's Get Lost! I have pushed this book on so many people at school and about 3 other people have read it now, pretty good considering not a lot of people are avid readers.

5. Best series you started in 2015? Best Sequel of 2015? Best Series Ender of 2015?
There were so many great series I had started this year but one of the best has to be the Six of Crows duology. Ugh such a great read and I cannot wait for Crooked Kingdoms!

One of my favorite sequels this year The Rose Society. It was such a great book and I cannot wait for more Marie Lu and Young Elites.

Best series ender I read this year has to be Forged. I have been such a huge fan of Erin Bowman's Taken trilogy for so long and ending this trilogy was kind of sad because I love it so much. Forged was such a great read and an awesome series ender.

I can't believe the day has come, 2015 is coming to an end. I had a great 2015 and I am excited for 2016 and the future. Read some great books, met some great people, did some fun things. I have taken a few new hobbies up and most important, taken another one more seriously. (Hint: You're reading it :D) I am super excited to recap and look back on 2015 and talk about my 2016 goals!

So I started off 2015 in the middle of a blog move from Wordpress and Blogger. I launched Next Page Please! on Blogger (Next Page Please 2.0 I would call it) in the beginning of February. This truly was the mark of me taking blogging seriously. I started working harder on my reviews, scheduling posts, and being more social on twitter and such.

I attended signings! In 2015, I was able to meet Amie Kaufman, Jay Kaufman, Colleen Houck, Cammie McGovern, Julie Murphy, Leigh Bardugo, Tamara Ireland Stone, Morgan Matson, Lynne Matson, Lindsay Smith, Marie Rutkoski, and Stacey Lee! Super greatful to be able to meet all these awesome authors and I cannot wait to meet more in 2016!

I read so many great books! I have hopefully finished 81 books by the time this post goes up! I am pretty surprised with myself because I am horrible with managing my time and finding time to read is literally the hardest thing ever. Hopefully I can get more reading done in 2016! I took up two new hobbies! I started an Instagram in the Spring of this year and since then I am still trying to figure out what I am doing with it. Photography is still pretty new to me so I am looking to improve! Another hobby I just started is hand lettering with a dip pen. I asked for a dip pen for Christmas for and since then, I have had such a fun time doing so and maybe one day I will turn the lettering into something but for now, I am still a young padawan in the art of hand lettering.

I traveled a bit! This summer, I went on a vacation to Jamaica, New York, Canada, and spend an unexpected night in North Carolina! I love going to new places and this was my first time being in Jamaica, New York, and North Carolina. It was my first time in the Ontario area. I hope to visit more places in 2016 and can't wait to see where I will be.

I started my first novel and participated in my first NaNoWriMo. Notice how I said "started" my first novel. Yep, it's been a whole month since NaNo ended and I am still writing away on my novel. It was definitely an experience I needed to go through and I definitely learned a lot. Wonder what my second NaNo will be like...?

Why I'm Waiting...

I feel like I don't read enough books that surround a relationship between siblings. Like yes, there are books where characters have siblings, but they never really are about the siblings. (Does that make sense?) I am excited to see how this book turns out. Looking forward to reading about these sisters, their relationships with each other, and also looking forward to seeing how they reconnect with each other after having such different lives and this party. Also, I do love the cover. :D

Why I'm Waiting...

This book sounds so epic. If it's anything I love, it's assassins in fantasy novels. Like yes, give it to me. I want to read and devour this book and enjoy it. Really excited to read about this fantasy world but also about Lea, because she is an assassin, I am excited for the badass character. I am super excited to meet Val and read about his and Lea's relationship. Also, the revenge aspect of this book will definitely be interesting to read. The cover is also absolutely gorgeous as well and screams fantasy and darkness.

One of the things I was super excited about on reading was the characters. I have had the Six of Crows pre-order post up on my wall ever since I got it and have been really wondering what these six characters are like. Glad I got to meet them because each character is awesome. Kaz, Inej, Matthias, Nina, Wyland, and Jesper are the six stars of this book and what I love is how they are all so different from each other. They all had their own personalities and backgrounds but all are able to kick ass in their own unique ways. All six of these characters are really great to read from and I enjoyed reading on how they were all able to contribute and work together on the heist. I definitely got my daily dose of Nina, Matthias, Inej, and Kaz but I also really wanted more Wyland and Jesper. They have a great bromance and both have great personalities. I definitely am anticipating more of Wyland and Jesper in the next book due to events that happened in Six of Crows (*cough cough*) and am kind of excited for it. They both seem like great characters I would love to get to know more.

As if the characters weren't great enough, the plot was just as great. I mean, the synopsis is already pretty pleasing. "Six dangerous outcasts. One impossible heist." LIKE YES, GIVE IT TO ME.

I really enjoyed the whole plot of this book because it was awesome. From the pre-stages of the heist, to actually doing the heist then the ending. It all kept me on my toes and I was constantly surprised by the different twists and turns this plot took. With the characters doing a heist, the least I would expect was lots of twists and turns.

There is also one more aspect in this book that I am actually really excited about. The romance. YES OMG, I FULLY LOVED LEIGH'S ROMANCE IN SIX OF CROWS. These people are incredibly complicated, a simple relationship does not run on their books. It was fun (and heartbreaking) to read about there characters want something more with the other person, but it just doesn't happen and it's all so angsty! Leigh was able to write about just enough romance to the point where the book was still about the big heist but the small specks of romance was perfect.

Maybe it's a possibility that Crooked Kingdoms is going to differ from Six of Crows in where romance and relationships do play a pretty big part in the plot compared to Six of Crows where they weren't. I am excited to see how relationships play out in Crooked Kingdoms!

One last thing, for everyone who has finished the Grisha trilogy, Six of Crows definitely brings back so many Grisha feels and nostalgia. Characters from the Grisha trilogy get mentioned a bit and I was reading this and part of me just wanted to curl up in a ball and cry while I hugged my Grisha trilogy because I JUST MISS THEM SO MUCH. (Them= the characters, world, plot, EVERYTHING). I also flipped to the map in the front of the book to see that the Unsea was only an outline on the map and that broke me because that was the tipping point of my Grisha feels and nostalgia. A revisit to that trilogy is very overdue.

I gave this book 5 stars because I loved everything about it! Characters, plot, writing, suspense, touch of romance, everything!

There are three spreadsheets I plan on using next year, one for ARCs, one for new releases, and one for interviews (Hopefully there will be more author interviews next year! That is definitely what I am striving for). The first one, is ARCs:

This spreadsheet was gotten from the majestic Nori when I mentioned that I had a ton of ARCs and she basically jumped to hand me this spreadsheet and I admit, it has really helped me with organizing everything. Before, I just relied on myself to remember what ARCs I had and had yet to read and this spreadsheet really gives me a great view of what is what and what ARCs I still gotta read.

Nori set up so that you could view what month the title was published on and then would continue on with what exact date it was published, the title, author, where I got the ARC from, series, and then I added a few things. She originally had the "Read and Reviewed" columns there and I had added "Rush" and "Put Into Kindle." (I made this back when I had the older kindle and I had to manually take a cord, plug it into my laptop, and move the files to the kindle myself.) "Rush" is basically for ARCs I need to prioritize in reading!

The next one I have heard are authors I would like to interview! This is one is basically used to give me an overview of what authors I am interested in interviewing on my blog.

This one I made myself and it is basically organized by the month I would like to feature. I had authors filled in for January and blocked them off but left the lovely Ashley Herring Blake (Suffer Love) for an example of how this spreadsheet works. So basically, you enter in the book title, author, publisher, release date, blah blah blah. This gives me an organized overview of what authors I would like to feature for what months!

And the third and final one is probably the least organized and is still a hot mess basically. Buuut it's basically going to be my one stop place for all the releases in 2016 and based on this list, there are a lot coming out...yeah.

This one I made as well and it is sort by release date (duh!). I just have the basic details on a book but added a "Genre" column, a column telling me whether a book was from a debut author and a little section for me to mark off whether I am interested in an ARC for the book! Going to be fixing this spreadsheet before 2016 because, well it definitely needs it...

This cover is absolutely gorgeous and I love love it. The typography is just beautiful and I love the cursive "Gemini" and the beautiful color scheme! Super excited about this book and I cannot wait to read this book and hold it's beautifulness as well.

Ever since I heard Evelyn was writing a book, it has been on my radar for so long and I am so excited to be talking about her cover. It's seems like such a great read and super excited for the characters. The cover, to be honest, isn't my favorite. I mean, I like the girl walking towards the crown but the Crown itself with it kind of taking shape as the castle/ building (Whatever it is) is not something I am very font of? Also, the title font isn't my favorite as well. Nevertheless, even if I don't agree with the cover, I am still planning to read this book.

This is a cover I like. The color scheme? Love! I love how the fonts on this cover are so simple so it doesn't take out from the focus in this cover, the beautiful breaking bone. I love how detailed it is: How you can see the cracks and the pieces coming off of it as well. All against a black background? Love!! Plus, it all goes perfectly with the title!

I was so excited about this cover debuting because it's another Stacey Lee novel and I adore her. I am so excited to freaking finally read this book (Yay ARCs!) and experience the greatness. It's not everyday I read a historical fiction and I tend to stay away from those but I am always in a mood for a Stacey Lee novel. Okay, so the cover! I honestly love it. There is such a great balance between how much attention the title has but also the lantern below it. I love how this cover shows the lantern's glass mid-shatter and also, the smoke coming off the candle in the lantern? The black smoke rising from the candle? The lanterns blowing the background? SO DRAMATIC EVERYTHING ON THIS COVER IS SO DRAMATIC!! I love it and it makes me super excited for the book.

Ohhhh I do like this cover. Really excited to read this book and the cover is just great. The placement and layout of the words in the title are a bit awkward but other than that I do love this cover. The dramatic clock as the girl looks over at a castle building thing in the distance. Just beautiful. And I also love how the top of the cover has this orange to it while the girl is kind of standing on the blue stuff (What is that? The sky? Are stars teal?). The border going around the book is really pretty as well and I love the garnishes at the corner.

Uhhhh okay so this cover definitely isn't a favorite of mine. I mean I just am not a fan of the girl in the background and the magical particles that floating around her. I just find the girl really awkward in the background of the cover as well. Also, not very keen of the font used for "Elementals." Overall, this cover wasn't the best I have ever seen but I definitely hope to read Elementals soon as I do enjoy reading Michelle's works!

I love how consistent they have kept the Lunar Chronicles with their covers and this is another I really like. This book is a collection of novellas and I am pretty excited for this book. Have yet to read Winter but I definitely will be soon! I love how they used a crown as it's main object for this cover because, well all the characters are really basically all fighting for the crown! The crown is actually really pretty and I am very happy with this cover!

Ugghhh this cover is sooo pretty. The beautiful swirls going on around in the background are just beautiful. The font used for the title and how it is all arranged is just beautiful and I love it's gold touch to it as well. The banners going behind "Erin Summerill" and "Ever the Outcast. Ever the Brave" give the cover such an elegant and kingdom like touch I love it. The bow and arrow going under the title and how the arrow points right towards the antlers? Love! So much going on but it definitely is a controlled beautiful chaos.

*coughs* *runs away* OKAY so I may have only read one book so far and only about 200 pages into Queen of Shadows but I do have two weeks off from school next week so I will be doing some reading then! I honestly don't know what took me so long with all this reading. I spent about 3 days reading NOTHING because I was trying to read a book but had no motivation to do it, so I just moved on to Six of Crows...which took me a week to complete. Queen of Shadows will probably take me awhile to finish as well because it is MASSIVE. There are only 3 books maybe that I need to absolutely read but everything else it's just "if I ever have time, I will get to you." Yeah, definitely won't finish all the books I aimed to but I will finish hopefully a good amount?

it's so cold. i kind of love it but at the same time i cannot get out of bed in the morning and it SUCKS. Plus, my skin is acting up and I am basically applying two layers of lotion because if I don't then I'm going to be an itchy mess the next day. Yeah! I like winter and the cold but at the same time, I want fall and summer and spring again. Give me what ever season that brings rain because California is still in that three year (and still going) drought.

So my shows are on a hiatus and I don't know what to do. Well, just know that when they come back (Arrow and the Flash) I will get three more shows! (Shadowhunters, The 100, and Legends of Tomorrow) Goodie! *nervously laughs* The 100 and Legends of Tomorrow are both on Thursday and Shadowhunters is on Tuesday. I will probably end up watching those three shows on the weekend because I do not have time during the week to take the time out for three more shows. I can barely manage the two I am currently watching!

Now that Christmas is rolling around, gift giving is as well! I'm not a huge person on giving gifts, I usually get them for my friends. (If you're asking: No, my parents usually don't want anything so I don't get them anything.) Also, I never actually open gifts on Christmas so I have just been opening gifts as they come and I am so grateful for the fact that my friends buy online items :D (Don't worry, I always get them something as well! :D)
